There are often periods in our lives where it hits us that we need to get in shape SOON! It’s not recommended that you treat your personal fitness as a one-off goal, as we all know that fitness is a lifestyle and a lifelong journey. Personal fitness is not a quick fix. There also is no quick fix for getting your body into shape.

With that being said, we are here to work for you and with you, without judging. Today we will do our best to help you out if you’re urgent to get your body into its best shape possible in a short amount of time.

For example, you decide to book a trip with your friends and you realize that your beach body is not what it used to be. It also hits you that your trip is in less than a month and your body is not where you want it to be. Let’s get started!

A few ways you can get in shape on a deadline:

Cut out the crap.

If you’re serious about getting your body looking good then you need to cut out the crap. You don’t need to starve yourself but you’re going to have to say goodbye to the snacks and booze for now. If you can manage to cut out the crap this will be half of the battle for you.

Don’t over do it.

It’s really easy to have this sense of euphoria inspire you to push yourself further than you should go. It may sound good in theory to spend a few hours in the gym every day. In reality all that will happen is that you’ll over train and your body might get sick of working out eventually. You must remember to focus on eating properly instead of trying to work out at the gym all day.

Follow the nutrition basics.

This is the perfect time for you to jump on board and start following the nutrition basics. This means eating lean proteins (egg whites, turkey), vegetables (broccoli), and beans (for energy). Cut out the liquid calories and the empty calories. Just follow the nutrition basics. Get into the habit of eating for fuel. This will do great things for your body.

Stop stressing.

It may feel to you like I over simplified things, but don’t worry. Personal fitness really is that simple. There are no “shocking secrets” that are frequently mentioned in fitness magazines. If you follow the basics, you will see phenomenal results. It is a linear process that involves dedication and often times survival of the fittest.

Also when I encourage to stop stressing, I mean that you should stop being so self-conscious about your body. Maybe the odd person on your vacation or whenever you go will have the ultimate beach body. You won’t be the only one feeling slightly out of shape. Don’t worry about others judging you. If they do judge you then you’re clearly hanging out with the wrong crowd.
